A standard skate board usually consists of : one skateboard deck, two trucks, four wheels including bearings in it, two Riser pads and eight bolts and nuts to assemble them together, also a grip tape is necessary too.

1: Skateboard deck sizes
Modern decks vary in size, but most are 7 to 10.5 inches (18 to 27 cm) in width. Wider decks can be used for greater stability when skateboarding. Standard skateboard decks are usually between 28 and 33 inches (71 and 84 cm) in length. Like 31*8 inch, 31*8.125 inch and 31*8.25 inch, they are all very popular sizes.
2: Skateboard deck material
Maple wood is the main material of a skateboard deck, and most skateboards are made with 7 plies of this wood. Canadian maple wood is now well recognized to be the best quality deck material. In China, the maple wood that from the northeast of China is also a good source, because they are on the same latitude as Canadian maple wood source. Some people also like to add other materials into the decks, like a layer of fiberglass, bamboo and so on.
3: Skateboard deck adhesive and finishing
What kind of glue that we use to adhesive a skateboard deck? Usually we have two kinds of glues: white glue or epoxy resin glue. We usually use white glue on entry level skateboards, and use epoxy resin glue on high level high quality skateboard. Besides the glue, we also need to add a polyurethane coating on the deck, for a smoother slides and stronger durability.
4: Skateboard deck OEM
We can produce the deck size based on customer’s requirement, and usually people like to have their own graphic design to be printed, on the bottom side. For the top side of the deck, we can do laser logo on it, and then shrink wrap it, customers also can put a stick on the wrap packing. You can tell me other special branding methods if you like.
Customers also can choose to have different color plies, like the deck in below photo, the top and bottom plies are dark blue color, and the middle ply is red color.
